While in Baguio

Dear Me,

Being in Baguio most of the time, I am always on the look-out for new things to do and new places to see. In plain terms, new experience. So, allow me to share this with you.

  • ...hear this music group called 'On Call' perform at The Manor in Camp John Hay. The band is composed of Dr. Dennis, Marie, Jett, Ivan. They play during Thursdays-Saturdays from 9:00 in the evening till the clock strikes 12 at midnight.

  • ...visit Atenara House and have a Murder Mystery Dinner. Atenara House is located at #40 CM Recto, Navy Base Road.

  • ...check-out this bar called Rumours located at Session Road before PNB, just across McDonald's.

  • ...give yourself a relaxing soaking at the Asin Hot Springs. You owe it to yourself given the cold weather of Baguio.

  • ...while your time at SM Baguio. You can have a perfect view of the city from the 3rd floor.

  • ...visit Tamawan Village. It is an artists' village located at Quezon Hill. Here, you will find yourself appreciating Cordillera life and tons of amazing art stuff. I think you can also have your portrait done for you. =)

  • ...have a taste of Korean food at this resto called Wood Nymph. This is located across Camp John Hay.

  • ...night life? Walk your way to Legarda. Stand in one corner and take your pick. I'm talking about bars, not pick-ups, ok? Hehehe.

  • ...meet friends and chat over coffee at Dainty's.

  • ...or just take a snack at Baguio Country Club and sample their cinnamon bread with raisins.

  • ...visit Cafe By The Ruins, in front of the Baguio City hall. It's a charmingly simple cafe where you can taste the bounty of Baguio. You can also try their Benguet coffee and don't forget the blueberry muffins.

  • ...experience Ifugao Woodcarvers Village. Situated on the way to Asin, about 5 km from the city, is an Ifugao wood carving village which produces and sells beautiful hand-carved items at very low prices and is well worth a visit even if you don't intend buying anything.

  • ...visit PMA. What to do? Boy-hunting...period. Hehehe.
