Here's my T13 this Thursday.
Paolo Coelho has been highly regarded by his readers. The books he wrote exemplified various lessons in life as learned by the character's experiences. His insightful approach is very much appealing to me.
I would love to share meaningful quotes from his books.

Thirteen Paolo Coelho Quotes (1)
- "Life really is generous to those who pursue their destiny."
- "Listen to your heart. It knows all things, because it came from the Soul of the World, and it will one day return there."
- "The two worst strategic mistakes to make are acting prematurely and letting an opportunity slip; to avoid this, the warrior treats each situation as if it were unique and never resorts to formulae, recipes or other people's opinions."
- "In love lies the seed of our growth. The more we love, the closer we are to the spiritual experience."
- "A warrior accepts defeat. He does not treat it as a matter of indifference, nor does he attempt to transform it into a victory. The pain of defeat is bitter to him; he suffers at indifference and becomes desperate with loneliness. After all this has passed, he licks his wounds and begins everything anew. A warrior knows that war is made of many battles: he goes on."
- "The enemy is only a pretext to test our strength."
- "You came so that you could learn about your dreams," said the old woman. "And dreams are the language of God. When he speaks in our language, I can interpret what he has said. But if he speaks in the language of the soul, it is only you who can understand."
- "Defeat exists, but not suffering. A true warrior knows that when he loses a battle he is improving the skill with which he wields a sword. He will be able to fight more skillfully next time."
- "The secret is here in the present. If you pay attention to the present, you can improve upon it. And, if you improve on the present, what comes later will also be better. Forget about future, and live each day according to the teachings, confident that God loves his children. Each day, in itself brings with it an eternity."
- "There are three things that a child can teach an adult: "To be happy for no reason; to be always busy doing something; And to know how to demand -- with all one's might -- what one wants."
- "The wise are wise only because they love. The fool are fools only because they think they can understand love."
- "History will never change because of politics or conquests or theories or wars; that's mere repitition, it's been going on since the beginning of time. History will only change when we are able to use the energy of love, just as we use energy of the wind, the seas, the atom."
- "It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting."
