A Short History
The Philippine Blog Awards was a project conceived in the latter part of 2006 to recognize quality content in the Philippine blogosphere. The main propagators of this project involved Abe Olandres, Gail de la Cruz-Villanueva and Jayvee Fernandez, three individuals involved in different areas of online media. Though they are involved in their own projects, they have since become attracted to a common passion of organizing the Filipino blogosphere and help give Filipinos a louder voice in cyberspace.
