Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- * Grab your current read.
* Open to a random page.
* Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page.
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!
(make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I am supposed to be reading To Die In Provence by Norman Bogner but my heart wasn't in it. I checked my TBR and picked another book. I chose Blue Heaven by C.J. Box which I won courtesy of Minotaur Books.
Here's my chosen teasers:
"Annie caught her breath, and her heart seemed to rush up her throat and gag her. She felt a sharp pain in her arm, and for a second she thought that a stray bullet had struck her, but when she glanced down she saw it was William's two-handed grip."
~ page 10, Blue Heaven by C.J. Box
Sounds like a very tense moment!
