Rest In Peace

I just heard from my mom that the King of Philippine Movies had passed away shortly after midnight. I could not believe he died. According to Mumsie, he suffered a stroke Saturday evening and was brought to St. Luke’s Hospital.

I was never a fan of FPJ and I even did not like the fact that he ran for the presidency. But for what it is worth, I admired the way he had unselfishly extended his generosity and compassion to the poor. I did not know this because people had declared his kind-heartedness in his remaining hours but because even before, a lot of people had already attested to his generosity.
