Oldest Bookshop

Dear Me,

If ever I step foot in London, this paradise will be in my must-see place to visit and splurge a little. Hehehe. Where books abound will always be a wonderful haven for me!

Hatchards - love the old classic look

Anyway, Hatchards is the oldest book-selling store in the entire United Kingdom. Established in Piccadilly since 1797, Hatchards has a fascinating reputation of drawing high-profile authors such as J.K. Rowling, Alexander McCall-Smith, Peter Ackroyd, Margaret Thatcher, Lauren Bacall, Stephen Fry, Jeremy Paxman, Joanne Harris, the late Alec Guinness, David Attenborough into book-signing of their newly-published creations.
