Erected to the Filipino and American fighting men who
gave their lives to win the land sea and air victories
which restored freedom and peace to the Pacific Ocean area

    I, too, salute those who fought for freedom and gave their lives doing so. My dad was in the US Navy on a battleship in the South Pacific during WW 2. He made it through the war and lived to be 83.

    Very nice memorial you've posted.
