I have been meaning to hop in the fun the moment I signed in months ago. But I just seem not to remember making this post.

Ultimate Blog Party 2008

Anyway, welcome to this side of my world as I participate in this blog party.

Call me Ivan Girl and I'm currently a SAHM (stay-at-home-mom) to my 1st baby named Carlos Miguel. He just turned five (5) months. :)

I love to write stuff, diary-style. I used to have notebooks turned to journals when I was younger. So when I discovered the fun of blogging online, I joined the throngs of bloggers out there beginning 2003.

Being a personal blog, nobody should expect anything less than this. It's all about me and my world. I love a lot of stuff. I love to do a lot of things. I love to go places. And in this blog, one will bumped into tidbits about my sentiments (happy thoughts, solitary musings, insane rantings), love for reading and books in general, itchy feet for travelling, exploring nature and the outdoors by mountainclimbing, compulsive need to forever have a taste of coffee, chocolate, french fries/potato chips, inherent desire to frequently visit bookshops, have coffee and chat with good friends and learn a new thing or two in any way I can.

Ultimate dream: to be a happy, contented person and celebrating the fullness of life with my parents, siblings, hubby and baby. :)

    I was just in Cebu City in December visiting Faith Tabernacle Church. I also got to go to Cuaming Island.

    I brought my then 7 month old baby with me all the way there from Texas. We had an awesome time and I miss my friends in the Philippines.

    Oh - I miss the bananas and mangoes too. All the food was so great. I need some pancit now.

    My husband's family is from the Philippines, he was actually born in Guam and moved to the States around the time he was 7. We hope to visit someday when our children are older.

    Thanks for coming to my party!! Your little family is so precious. I will definatly be coming back to visit your blog!! I used to live in the Phillippines!! My dad was stationed at Clark AFB in the early 90's...we evacuated when Mt. Pinatubo erupted. I have lots of memories of being there (I was 8-10years old) I'll have to find some pictures and scan them on my blog :-)

    Great blog and party post. I loved reading about you. We share a lot of similar interests in life although we are at different stages. My hubby spent some time in the Philippines during the late 80's - early 90's while he was in the military. I will be back again.
