Spying Over Burn After Reading

Dear Me,

I've been waiting for this film to be shown here in Manila. Aside from Richard Gere and Andy Garcia, I have held in high esteem both George Clooney and Brad Pitt for their superb talent in acting.

My admiration for GC started all the way back to his days in the Emmy Award-winning American medical drama tv series, ER. He portrayed the role of a doctor named Dr. Doug Ross.

On the other hand, my adoration for BP was rather of late. Although I had watched him in Legends Of The Fall and Interview With The Vampire, it was only in Mr. & Mrs. Smith and the Ocean's movie series that I totally dig Brad Pitt.

Also worthy of mention is that these two gentlemen have shared themselves to nonprofit world organizations and charities.

Given the actors starring in it, I am also eager to see what the movie is all about. Although I have read the synopsis, the words that rung out like CIA, conspiracy, spy, thriller, action are my kind of thing (even in books). What to watch out for would be the injection of humor in this film. :)

Burn After Reading will be shown in Philippine theaters this month.

The great thing is: Nuffnang Philippines will be having a premiere showing of this movie! Yes, in cooperation with Viva Entertainment and Robinsons MovieWorld, Nuffnang PH's very 1st movie premiere will be on November 18, 2008, Tuesday at 7:30pm at Robinsons Movie World, Robinsons Galleria.

I'm also enthusiastic to be able to watch this premiere because I would love to meet other Nuffnangers. I only know a handful of them in person and the others by virtual name only. It would also be great to meet and put a face to those names I only knew online.
