24 Hour Read-A-Thon: Progress 3

Dear Me,

Well, I'm done doing the rounds and answering two mini-challenges. Also, I'm done with my first book.

Title of book(s) read since last update:
~ The Eight by Katherine Neville

~ I thoroughly enjoyed this book because of the suspenseful plot. Although there are times I have to flipped back some pages to track and be well acquainted with many characters in the story. It was very intriguing to the point that I took notes of some things that I knew were quite historical and which I would later on, check its veracity. :) I would say it's better than Da Vinci Code but quite at par with Steve Berry's books. At 598 pages, this book was a thrill for me although not recommended to read when you're jumpstarting your reading marathon.

Number of books read since you started:
~ Yehey! I finished this book. I'm off to reading The Rainmaker by John Grisham. I need some 'light' (considering my book selection) reading.

Pages read since last update:
~ 598 pages (1st book) + 73 pages (2nd book) excluding the cover and the few pages before chapter 1. :)

Mini-challenges completed:
~ Tammy's A Nod To Fiction
Erin's Reading Madness Trio

Other participants you've visited:
~ Amy of The Friendly Book Nook
christina of Reading Through The Night
icedream of Reading in Appalachia
